Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw also known by her stage name Elizabeth Alice MacGraw has been a model, actor and animal rights advocate in America. The actress is famous for films like Love Story (1970) Goodbye Columbus (1969) as well as The Getaway (1972). She grew up in an artistic family from New York and wanted to explore a career in the artistic fields. In the beginning she began as an assistant in photography. Later on she shifted her focus into directing and modeling. MacGraw was noticed in her first two movies and won the Golden Globe Award for Most Promising newcomer. MacGraw's 1970 film Love Story was an international hit, earning the actress an Academy Award nomination and Golden Globe Award. In just three films, MacGraw was named the top female box-office start worldwide. Her handprints, autograph and footprints were engraved in 1972 at Grauman's Chinese Theater. The actress has appeared in a variety of other films including The Getaway Convoy Players and the miniseries on TV The Winds of War among other. Her autobiography Moving Pictures was published in 1991. MacGraw was married to three individuals.
