Lita Rossana Ford (also known as Lita Ford is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist who was born in Britain. She was a lead guitarist as a member of The Runaways, a hard-rock group made up of girls in late 1970s. Their punkish music and rebellious lyrics got them not only the attention of rock fans but also from the community. The group wasn't successful in the United States, it gained immense popularity in the world. Ford started her own heavy-metal career after the breakup of her group in 1979. After taking lessons in singing, she released her solo debut album, 'Out For Blood'. This was followed by the release of 'Dancin"On The Edge'. Ford did not achieve anything with either of them and disappeared from the world of rock for about an entire decade. Her biggest hit, 'Lita' was released in 1989. Kiss Me Deadly (single) and Close My Eyes Forever (ballad) were her greatest songs. However, her fame was short-lived, and she disappeared for a few years. Her release of Black in 1995 followed by a fifteen-year delay for the album 'Wicked Wonderland. She released her latest album Time Capsule in 2016. Guitar Player Magazine awarded her the award of a Certified Guitar Legend.
