Lita Rossana Ford (also known in the form of Lita Ford) is an British born American guitarist who was the lead in The Runaways a female hard rock group in the 1970s. They gained attention for their provocative songs and punk-rock fashion. It was not possible for the band to be popular in America, however, they enjoyed a great deal of acclaim in other nations and in particular Japan. The band broke up in 1979 Ford started a lucrative solo career in the world of heavy metal. She took vocal lessons and then released her debut solo album , 'Out For Blood' then 'Dancin' on the Edge. Ford disappeared from rock for several years after the albums did not become popular. In 1988, Ford returned to the world of music with an amazing album titled "Lita. The hit single 'Kiss Me Deadly' and the ballad 'Close My Eyes Forever' were both big hit songs. However, her popularity was not long-lasting and she was absent from the music industry for a few years. In 1995, she dropped "Black," and 15 years later 'Wicked Wonderland. "Time Capsule," her debut album "Time Capsule" was made available by her in the year 2016. Guitar Player Magazine gave her The Certified Guitar Legend Award.
