Lita Ford and Francia Raisa
Lita Rossana Ford, also known as Lita Ford is an American guitar player and singer who was born in Britain. She was the lead guitarist as a member of The Runaways, a hard-rock band made up of all girls in late 1970s. Their punkish music and raunchy lyrics made them recognized by the rock world. It wasn't possible for the band to be an instant hit in the United States, but they gained a lot of popularity in other countries and in particular Japan. Ford's solo heavy metal career proved successful following the band breakup. She began taking voice classes and then released her first album "Out For Blood" and then "Dancin" at the Edge. Ford was absent from the scene for some time after both albums failed to gain much popularity. The smash hit album "Lita" was released by Ford in 1988. The track "Kiss me Deadly" and ballad "Close My Eyes Forever" became huge hit songs. Unfortunately her popularity was only short-lived, and she disappeared for several years. The resurgence of her career came with releases of "Black" in 1995 as well as "Wicked Wonderland" nearly 15 years following. 2016 saw the release of her most recent studio album "Time Capsule". The singer was honored with The Certified Guitar Legend Award from the Guitar Player Magazine.
