Lita Ford and Francia Raisa
Lita Rossana Ford (also known as Lita Ford) is a British born American singer on guitar who took as the lead vocalist in The Runaways a female hard rock group in the 1970s. The group was admired by their raunchy lyrics and punkish design. While the group did not have much success in the United States, they were hugely popular overseas. This was especially true in Japan. The band broke up in 1979 Ford embarked upon a successful solo career in the world of heavy metal. After taking vocal lessons she released her solo debut album, called 'Out for Blood'. This was followed by the release of her second album, 'Dancin' On The Edge'. Ford was unable to achieve any success with either record and disappeared from the world of rock for about 10 years. Ford returned to the scene with her smashing hit album 'Lita, which debuted in 1988. Kiss Me Deadly, and Close My Eyes Forever both quickly became huge hit. Unfortunately, the success of her career was not lasting and over the course of several years she went under the radar. The resurgence of her career came with albums "Black" which came out in 1995 as well as "Wicked Wonderland" nearly 15 years following. The album she released most recently "Time Capsule," launched in 2016. Guitar Player Magazine awarded her the prestigious Certified Guitar Legend Award.
