Lita Rossana Ford She was a British-born American musician, singer as well as writer. In the late 70s she was the lead guitarist for the hard-rocking all-girl band The Runaways. The group did not have much of a following in their home country of the United States. However, their fame grew internationally, particularly in Japan.
