Lita Rossana Ford is born in Britain and was an American musician, singer and music writer. The latter half of the 1970s she was the guitarist in the hard rocking all-girl band The Runaways. It wasn't possible for The Runaways to become an instant hit in the United States, but they gained a lot of attention in other countries particularly Japan. Ford launched a solo heavy-metal career after the breakup from her band in 1979. Her debut album as a solo artist was called 'Dancin' on the Edge, followed by her record Out for Blood. The two albums didn't receive much success and Ford was largely absent out of the scene for a few years. The hit album "Lita" was made available by Ford in 1988. Kiss Me Deadly was a huge hit as was the ballad Close My Eyes Forever and Kiss Me Deadly. Sadly, her fame was brief and she disappeared from the industry for several decades. Her re-emergence was with the releases of "Black" from 1995 and "Wicked Wonderland" which came out almost 15 years following. in 2016, the most recent album, 'Time Capsule, was made available.
