Lita Rossana Ford also known as Lita Ford, as she's more commonly known as was an American born British singer and guitarist who led the female-only hard rock band The Runaways during the late 1970s. The group wasn't success within The United States, it gained immense popularity in the world. Ford launched a solo heavy-metal career after the breakup from her band in 1979. She took vocal lessons and recorded her first solo album 'Out for Blood then 'Dancin' on the Edge. Her albums weren't very successful and she disappeared for several years. The smash hit 'Lita' was released in 1989. Kiss Me Deadly, and Close My Eyes Forever both quickly became huge hit. Unfortunately her popularity was only brief, and she went under the radar for several years. The album 'Black' was released in 1995, and then 'Wicked Wonderland 15 years afterwards she returned.
