Lita Rossana Ford is born in Britain and was an American musician, singer and writer. In the late 70s she was a lead guitar for the hard-rocking all-girl band The Runaways. The band was not able to gain a lot of attention in their home country of the United States but earned huge recognition abroad, particularly in Japan. Ford was able to enjoy a long and prosperous career as a solo heavy metal musician after the group broke up together in 1979. Following vocal training, she debuted her own solo album, called 'Out for Blood'. This was followed by the release of her second album, 'Dancin' On The Edge'. Ford disappeared from rock for several years after both albums failed to become popular. The smash-hit album "Lita" was launched by Ford in the year 1988. Kiss Me Deadly, and Close My Eyes Forever both quickly became huge hit. However, her fame was temporary, and she was gone for a few years. She re-emerged after the release of 'Black in 1995. Then she released 'Wicked wonderland' nearly 15 years after. "Time Capsule," her debut album "Time Capsule" was made available by her in the year 2016. She was awarded The Certified Guitar Legend Award by Guitar Player Magazine.
